Jason Rose’s interest in film production began during his childhood when he found an old 8mm film camera in his grandparent’s attic. He was introduced to video production during his high school years and decided to pursue TV and Film production in college. After receiving his degree in TV & Film from Texas Christian University, Jason moved from Texas to Los Angeles, where he began actively pursuing filmmaking and editing. He attained additional training at Video Symphony in Burbank, CA in the Professional Editing Program. Jason is trained in both Avid and Final Cut Pro (as both and editor and an instructor). He has worked as an editor in several different genres, from comedy to drama to documentary -- from short subject to feature length. He has worked on both 16mm and 35mm film projects, as well as, SD and HD video projects. Additionally, he has been trained in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Boris FX. His most recent projects include a sketch comedy pilot, an HD dramatic short, and a documentary on orphans in Uganda. Jason has also been hired to teach Avid and Final Cut for companies like Disney, the X17 Agency, ONQCo.com and regularly teaches at Video Symphony in Burbank, CA.
